UK camping clubs (C&CC and CAMC)

Two large British membership clubs — The Camping and Caravanning Club and The Caravan and Motorhome Club — run campsite networks and give members discounts plus access to small private sites. They are the UK counterpart of ACSI and ADAC.
The real value is not the network sites but the thousands of five-pitch micro-sites: Certificated Sites (CS) with the C&CC and Certificated Locations (CL) with the CAMC, often on farms, at £10–20 a night. Membership costs roughly £50–60 a year and typically pays for itself in four to six nights. Both clubs also sell insurance and overseas packages with ferry crossings; on the continent the equivalents are the ACSI CampingCard and ADAC schemes.
