Although the amoeba was not detected in water samples from the motorhome or campsite, disinfectant levels were insufficient and turbidity exceeded standards. The case highlights risks of using tap water for nasal irrigation and the need for water quality maintenance in RVs.

A trailer towed by a pickup truck caught fire on Interstate 75 in Hamilton County, Tennessee, causing stored fireworks to detonate. The driver pulled over after noticing smoke, and the fire quickly spread. Traffic was halted in both directions; no injuries have been reported.
