The Ultra Van, produced from 1966 to 1970, weighed under 6,000 pounds when loaded and used a Chevrolet Corvair powertrain. Its fiberglass and aluminum monocoque body eliminated the need for a chassis, giving it car-like handling. Production ended due to rising costs and the discontinuation of the Corvair engine.
