Villa Celiera will have a new camper area with 50 pitches by the end of the year, funded by a €180,000 grant from the Italian Ministry of Tourism. Work has already started and the facility is expected to be completed by December, with the aim of being operational for the next season. Management will be entrusted for ten years to the specialized company Parcheggio 5. The area will feature water and electricity hookups, Wi-Fi, an info point, and charging stations for electric vehicles. Lighting, fencing, and controlled access with a barrier are also planned, with payment via an app. The managing company also plans to add sanitary facilities for campers. Next to the new pitches is an unused bar-restaurant that the administration believes could benefit from the influx of visitors. The project aims to strengthen tourism in the Voltigno area, including cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, trekking, and food and wine.
