France continues to develop motorhome infrastructure. In Troyes, the stop opened in 2023 has been 100% full from June to September. In April 2025, a full-occupancy sign appeared for the first time. Authorities plan to add nine new spaces.
In Peyrehorade (Landes), a new 24-space stop opened at the Camping Municipal des Gaves. It is connected to the Qipeo platform for booking and payment via smartphone. The cost is 14.58 € for 24 hours for two adults. The stop is 30–35 minutes from Bayonne and the beaches of the Basque Coast.
In the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department, stops are being modernised to attract off-season tourists. The fully renovated stop in Sisteron offers 20 round-the-clock spaces. According to Camping Car Park, since early April it has hosted 238 motorhomes, 40% more than before, and is estimated to bring the city at least €40,000. Authorities believe a well-equipped 10-space stop can generate up to €50,000 per year.
In Rabastens-de-Bigorre (Hautes-Pyrénées), a new stop opened on 26 March 2026 with 17 spaces, expandable to 30. It offers water, electricity, Wi-Fi, waste water disposal and rubbish collection.
