A new motorhome service area has opened in Saint-James, in the south of the Manche department. According to one source, it is located in the car park by the presbytery; according to another, on Rue du Presbytère, near the church. The facility is accessible around the clock, every day.
The area offers four pitches, free grey water disposal, paid black water disposal, 100 litres of drinking water for €2, and electricity at €1 per hour. Payment is by bank card via a terminal at an automatic kiosk. Toilets are also available. A picnic table is to be installed soon.
The aim is to improve tourist services and support the local economy.
