A motorhome service area is a dedicated facility providing fresh water filling, waste water dumping, and toilet cassette disposal, installed at campsites, petrol stations, or dedicated motorhome stopovers.
Service areas may be coin-operated, token-operated, or app-controlled (e.g. Camping Key Europe). Costs range from free to €5 per use. The Flot Bleu network is the largest in France; similar networks operate across Germany, Spain, and Portugal.
