New Camper Area Opens in Ponderano

With schools closing in Italy, a massive exodus of families in motorhomes is underway, with up to 80,000 vehicles expected. Campsites are already full of foreign tourists, mostly retirees and some young people. Italians traditionally take their holidays in July and August, including itinerant trips.

On the morning of June 11, 2026, at the entrance to Lu Bagnu near Castelsardo (Sassari province), a car collided with a motorhome.
