The city council of Rieti has approved the construction of a new camper van parking area in the Fonte Cottorella district, near the Presepe della Pace. The total investment amounts to €201,300. Procedures for zoning changes and necessary approvals through the Conference of Services will also be initiated.
The project is aimed at developing tourist infrastructure and attracting travelers in camper vans. According to the mayor, the infrastructure will be strategic for strengthening Rieti's tourist appeal and improving access to local attractions.
