New camper BBQ service and RV parks open in Japan

Wood Design Park Co., Ltd. launched a new day-use BBQ service using a camper van on May 1, 2026, in Ichinomiya, Aichi Prefecture. The service operates at the outdoor facility 'Wood Design Park Ichinomiya - Tsumugu'. Two 4-hour sessions are available: morning (10:00–14:00) and evening (16:00–20:00). Capacity is 2 to 6 people. Camper rental starts at 9,800 yen (BBQ kit and food are extra). The camper includes a mini sink, power outlets, a foldable bed, and a sofa. BBQ grill, table, chairs, tableware, and unlimited soft drinks are provided. Pets are allowed on a leash but not inside the camper.
