Plans to relocate 47 caravan pitches to Maenygroes near New Quay have been recommended for refusal by Ceredigion County Council planning officers ahead of a May 13 committee meeting. The application by Vale Holiday Parks Ltd involves moving 17 caravans from Wern Mill Caravan Park and 30 from The Village Holiday Park to Ocean Heights Holiday Parks. Objections from Llanllwchaearn community council and residents cite overdevelopment, road safety, and infrastructure strain. An officer report states the site lacks sustainable transport links and local services, and the proposal does not meet a specific local need.
