Ceredigion County Council has once again deferred a decision on a controversial plan to relocate 47 caravan pitches to the village of Myneglog near New Quay, Wales. The application by Vale Holiday Parks Ltd, submitted through agent Geraint John Planning Ltd, proposes moving 17 caravans from Wern Mill Caravan Park and 30 from The Village Holiday Park to the Ocean Heights Holiday Parks site.
Llanllwchhaearn Community Council opposes the plan, arguing it would double the site area and strain local infrastructure and road safety. Officials have recommended refusal, stating the site is not sustainable due to a lack of services and car dependency. The application is expected to be considered at a meeting in June.
