Hoengseong County in Gangwon Province announced the completion of repairs and trial operation of Zone A at Byeongjibang Auto Camping Site, also known as "Mulsori." The campsite reopened on August 5, with visitor use starting August 7. The renovation upgraded outdated showers, toilets, and camping pads, incorporating feedback from a week-long trial run.
Starting this year, management has been transferred to the Hoengseong Culture and Tourism Foundation, which will expand entertainment and educational programs. The campsite, located along Byeongjibang Valley near Odaksan Mountain, has 119 sites; together with Songbawi Camping, it totals 164 sites. The campsite has been popular since 2015. Zones B and C, as well as Songbawi Nature Camping, are planned to open gradually next spring. Reservations are available on the official website.
