GENSEN HOLDINGS to Open Camper Van Parks at Hotels from Sept 1, 2026

Nissan has introduced the X-Trail Rock Creek MultiBed for the Japanese market. The vehicle features the MultiBed kit, which converts the rear into a double bed. Pricing in Japan is set at 5,362,500 yen.

Japanese YouTuber Hajimesyacho converted his former Daihatsu kei car into a camper with rainbow metallic paint and interior featuring a sink, TV and sleeping area. The conversion cost about 6.12 million yen.

The RV park Awaji Canvas has opened in Awaji City, Hyogo Prefecture, situated on elevated ground away from the coastal bustle. The park offers open space and quiet, along with necessary amenities for extended stops, including restrooms and electricity.

The Midoriko Fureai Hiroba motorhome campsite in Nanbu, Tottori Prefecture, resumed operations on October 4 after a four-month suspension caused by the bankruptcy of its designated management company. The site is now run directly by the town and will be open only on weekends and holidays. It offers 24 powered pitches for motorhomes, six tent sites, and shower facilities. Last year it recorded 1,435 visitors, and 20 reservations have already been made through the end of October, mostly from the Kansai region. The town is considering whether to solicit a new designated manager for the next fiscal year.
