Retrospective planning permission has been recommended for nine campervan pitches at Shoreside Garden Centre at 113 Marine Parade outside Dunoon. Sandy Owen's application drew eight public objections and four expressions of support. Argyll and Bute Council's planning, protective services and licensing committee will decide on 21 October. The application was referred to the committee because roads officers object to the gradient of a section of private access road. Other council officials said the proposal would bring economic benefits and that demand for motorhome accommodation has been identified.
