In Changhua County, Taiwan, candidate Ye Jiyuan has proposed creating a legal overnight zone for RVs and campers at Hushanyan Flower Park. The initiative aims to attract tourists for overnight stays and increase local spending.
The park, planted with 300,000 flowers, attracts over 200,000 visitors annually according to one source, or over one million according to another. During the 2026 peak season (Mother's Day weekend), visitor numbers exceeded 50,000. Tourists currently come mainly for day trips, and the project seeks to extend their stay.
