Wittenberge has begun building a parking lot with 75 car spaces and 25 spaces for motorhomes and campers near the Prignitzer Badewelt pool. The facility is expected to be completed by the end of the year and is intended for short-term visitors, not long-term campers. No electrical hookups are planned, but campers can use the pool's showers. Total cost is about €700,000, with €554,300 in subsidies from the GRW-I program.
