In 2026, some motorhome and caravan sites in the states of Schleswig-Holstein, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Lower Saxony have raised their fees. In Geesthacht on the Elbe (Duchy of Lauenburg district), the price for a 24-hour stay rose from 7 to 18 euros. On Sylt, prices increased by 0.50–1 euro, reaching 19.50–32.50 euros, and in Sankt Peter-Ording by 2 euros.
At the "Havelberge" campsite in Userin (Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania), the high-season price rose by 2.30 euros to 33.50 euros. In Neuharlingersiel (Lower Saxony), the increase ranged from 0.50 to 1 euro depending on category. Meanwhile, prices in Hamburg and Wismar remained at the 2025 level.
