AKAIGAWA TOMO PLAYPARK, a camping and glamping site in the village of Akaigawa, Hokkaido, is open until November 3. Located about 1.5 hours by car from Sapporo, it offers free tent sites, two new auto sites measuring 7×12 m with a 7×3 m parking space and no electricity, three trailer-type glamping units called Jubako, and a dedicated camper van site with electricity and garbage service. Free playgrounds and a pump track are available for children. Safety measures include about 50 repellent stations against wildlife and no permanent trash bins.
