Several campsites on Lake Ammersee (Bavaria) welcome guests with dogs. Campingplatz Utting am Ammersee allows up to two dogs per booking, requires leashes on site, and has a dedicated dog beach. Camping Penker-Jäschok (east shore) also permits dogs; details are available by phone. Camping Pilsensee (on the adjacent lake) allows dogs only in motorhomes or caravans, with mandatory leashes, microchipping, and rabies vaccination; from May 15 to September 15, dog swimming is banned on Lake Pilsensee.
