Indiana has identified five state parks for camping with a camper, including Brown County State Park, Turkey Run State Park, Indiana Dunes State Park, Patoka Lake, and Tippecanoe River State Park. The parks offer between 140 and 437 electric sites, as well as tent and horse-friendly areas. At Brown County State Park, the largest in the state at nearly 16,000 acres, RVs must use the west entrance due to height and weight restrictions at the north entrance. Turkey Run State Park has a 9.0 out of 10 rating on RV Life Campground Reviews, but campers report persistent raccoon issues.
