Rising housing prices in Spain are pushing more people to consider camper vans as an alternative to traditional housing. According to a BBVA study, house prices are expected to rise by about 5.7% in 2027, following an estimated 12% increase this year. Jesús, creator of the Viaja en tribu project, converted a van into a living space, reducing his monthly expenses to between 300 and 500 euros. He installed truck boxes for 100 euros and a roof tent for 1,500 euros. Jesús says the nomadic lifestyle helped him cope with stress and depression.
