RV Park NANSO CAMP Opens in Isumi for Road Travelers

In Kimitsu, Chiba Prefecture, the RV park 'LOHAS PARK' has opened, featuring 24-hour toilets, AC power, paid waste disposal, and free water. Amenities include a covered dog run (50×6 m), a cafe serving burgers, and an osteopathy clinic. Rates start at 2,200 yen per night, with 11 spaces, check-in from 15:00 to 21:00, and check-out by 11:00. The park is certified by the Japan RV Association and supports stays of up to a week.

Infoseek tested the installation of the portable air conditioner BREEZE BOX from the OUTFIELD brand (owned by Corona) in a vehicle for sleeping. The 12 kg unit was placed on the front passenger seat table, with two ducts routed out the window. Setup took three steps: attaching ducts, drain hose, and connecting to a portable battery. It was noted that the drain hose sometimes detached, and the ducts could be shorter than desired. The price is 59,800 yen.

The second trailer hotel 'Alpha Base', managed by the Anabuki Group, has opened on the grounds of the Alpha Tsuda Country Club in Sanuki, Kagawa Prefecture. It offers six standalone trailers available for exclusive rental. Guests who do not play golf can also stay, making it suitable for tourism and leisure.

Japanese company Annex RV has built the Liberty 52 REi camper on a Toyota Camroad base, measuring about 5.2 meters long, 2.07 meters wide, and 2.88 meters high. Inside, it features a U-shaped lounge for eight, a kitchen with two burners, sink, microwave, and 85-liter fridge, plus a wet bath with shower and optional cassette toilet. The camper is powered by a 3.0-liter diesel engine producing 144 hp, paired with an automatic gearbox, optional 4x4, solar panels, and lithium batteries. It is sold only in Japan for 15.96 million yen (about 95,000 euros).

Japanese comedian Imoto Ayako (40) appeared on TBS Radio's 'Imoto Ayako no Suppin Shan' on August 26 and discussed her participation in Snow Peak's 'Kodomo Peak Camp 2026', held July 25-26 at the Akagi Camp Field in Gunma Prefecture. She noted the site's altitude of 1,300 meters and temperatures around 24°C, 8-9 degrees cooler than Tokyo. The event included about 60 families, with an opening ceremony and speeches.

On August 20, ALPHA BASE Tsuda, a hotel made of six private trailers, opened at the Alpha Tsuda Country Club in Sanuki, Kagawa Prefecture. Each trailer accommodates up to five guests and features a private sauna, an outdoor jacuzzi, and a wooden deck. Rates start at 16,620 yen per trailer for two guests. The hotel is open to non-golfers as well.
