Due to heavy weight and long periods of inactivity, these components are subjected to extreme stress and wear faster than those of ordinary passenger cars.
Tires, which support loads up to 3500 kg, deform during long parking, so it is recommended to periodically move the vehicle and check tire pressure monthly. The braking system wears faster due to increased stopping distance, and suspension is critical for stability in crosswinds and corners. Also necessary are checks of filters, auxiliary batteries, gas system tightness, and the caravan coupling device. Regular maintenance reduces the risk of accidents and breakdowns.
