This year they are traveling through the Netherlands, visiting old Hanseatic cities such as Kampen and Deventer. In Kampen, they explore an old cigar factory where cigars are still hand-rolled. In Deventer, guide Truus claims her city is the most beautiful in the world. Along the North Sea coast, the couple encounters impressive sand art by world-record-holding couple Eugenia Kolot and Martin Tedder. At Petra van de Zande's restaurant, where people with disabilities work in service, they learn about differences between the Dutch and Germans. In Zaandam, they see various windmills and traditional wooden houses, and take a boat trip on the river Zaan to get an overview of one of Europe's first industrial areas.
