According to a Pincamp (ADAC) analysis, the average cost per night at a campsite in Germany is €41. In Thuringia, Hesse, and Saxony-Anhalt, prices are even lower, ranging from €34 to €38 per night, roughly 40% cheaper than in Mediterranean countries (Croatia €73, Italy €63, Spain €58). Germany remains one of the most affordable camping destinations in Europe, surpassed only by Sweden (€40) and Norway (€38).
