Speaking on RMC's Estelle Midi, journalist Périco Légasse said his chef friend travelled by motorhome from Lapland to Ouarzazate in eight days, later adding the timeframe was probably longer. He said motorhome owners gain freedom to travel and can carry a scooter for local transport. Légasse also said the influx of motorhomes causes problems for residents and protected areas, and suggested restrictions may be introduced.
