A campervan caught fire around 1 a.m. on May 18 at Camping Fontisson in Châteauneuf-de-Gadagne. The flames spread to two mobile homes, which were completely destroyed. A 58-year-old woman was hospitalized with minor burns and smoke inhalation.
In the early hours of Monday, May 18, around 1 a.m., a campervan caught fire at Camping Fontisson in Châteauneuf-de-Gadagne (Vaucluse). The fire spread to cypress trees and two adjacent mobile homes, which were completely destroyed.
The owner of the campervan, a 58-year-old woman, suffered minor burns and smoke inhalation and was taken to Avignon hospital. Seventeen firefighters were deployed to extinguish the blaze. The gendarmerie has launched an investigation.
