For Pentecost, camping and motorhome demand is high in Northern Germany (Harz, Lüneburg Heath, North Sea coast). Many coastal sites, such as in Cuxhaven, are fully booked, but spots remain in Wilhelmshaven and Greetsiel. Hotels and guesthouses report occupancy similar to last year. Due to high fuel prices, tourists are cutting day trips but not overnight stays.
