On the North Sea coast, campsites are filling up for Whitsun, with pitches for motorhomes especially in demand. In Cuxhaven, the Wernerwald and Altenbruch campsites are fully booked, while in Wilhelmshaven there are still free places. High demand is also reported in the Lüneburg Heath and the Harz, with hotels and guesthouses at last year's occupancy levels.
According to the PiNCAMP (ADAC) portal, 12 campsites on the German North Sea coast still have free places for Whitsun. Availability can be checked in real time on PiNCAMP, camping.info and Eurocampings. It is recommended to be flexible with dates and direction, and to call campsites directly — cancellations are possible.
