According to a TUI ranking, Albania tops the list of Europe's most camper-friendly countries, ahead of Italy and Croatia. The average price per night at a campsite in Albania is less than 20 euros. Poland ranks second, Germany third. The ranking considered campsite costs, food and drink prices, transport, climate, nature, culture, and leisure. In Germany, 44.7 million overnight stays at campsites were recorded in 2025, up 4.2% from the previous year. Since 2020, the cost of a night at a motorhome parking spot has risen by 32.2%.
