Moncofa, a former fishing village in the province of Castellón, is attracting motorhome and camper travellers with its calm beaches, historical heritage and convenient overnight options. The beach of Moncofa stretches over two kilometres, nearby Belcaire beach allows swimming with dogs, and the Sendero Azul del Belcaire trail runs about four kilometres along the Mediterranean. The village has a campsite by the sea and several parking areas listed on Park4Night where overnight stays are usually permitted. It is important to note that sleeping inside a vehicle counts as parking, while setting up tables, chairs or awnings outside the vehicle is considered camping and may be subject to local restrictions.
