A look at the interior of a modern motorhome shows how every centimeter is optimized. The compact kitchen includes a cooktop, sink, microwave and a three-way refrigerator that runs on 12V, LPG gas or 110/220V. The bathroom has a chemical toilet with a holding tank and a shower that uses water from a fresh water tank. The living area converts from a dinette with two sofas into a bed at night. Motorhomes with a gross weight up to 6,000 kg can be driven with a standard B license; heavier models require a D license. Power comes from a dedicated house battery charged by the engine, solar panels or shore power.
