Interest in Tiny Houses is growing in Germany. A resident of Rhineland-Palatinate built a 30 sqm home for 90,000 euros, with the plot costing 30,000 euros. Construction took six months, and heating is provided by a pellet boiler. She plans to fully repay the 120,000 euro loan before retirement.
Meanwhile, Wiebke Huss from Stutensee, who previously lived in a 120 sqm house, plans to move into a Tiny House upon retirement. She has already started looking for a suitable plot. Huss notes that a mini home can be equipped without barriers.
