The Japan RV Association (JRVA) has announced it will lend campers from member companies to support those affected by the 2026 Kumamoto earthquake. The vehicles will be used as accommodation and rest areas for support groups. Two units will be allocated to medical NPOs and one to the Water Resources Agency. JRVA highlights that campers are immediately usable upon arrival, provide personal space, and include basic amenities such as electricity, water, and gas. The association previously deployed campers during the Great East Japan Earthquake, the Kumamoto earthquake, and the Noto Peninsula earthquake.
