Safe Dog Boxes in Motorhomes: Review of 11 Providers

On Good Friday, two motorhomes collided on Stuttgarter Straße in Calw. Preliminary police reports indicate the crash was caused by a sudden lane change by one motorhome, possibly due to a driver's medical issue. Four people sustained non-life-threatening injuries, and the road was closed for several hours for recovery operations.

A German company has introduced the modular squiq Traveller-box system to convert an estate car or SUV into a mini-camper. The basic version costs around €2,000, features a sliding construction with a load capacity of up to 220 kg, and can be supplemented with a kitchen module and roof tent.

German company Ari Motors has introduced the electric motorhome Ari 458 Pro, which is 3.82 meters long. Its width is 1.49 meters, and its range varies from 120 to 230 kilometers depending on the battery. Sales of the model will begin in May 2026, with a starting price of 25,530 euros excluding taxes.
