Himeji City in Hyogo Prefecture has completed five toilet trailers for disaster response. The trailers feature private stalls and barrier-free toilets, operate on solar panels, and function during power outages and water supply cuts. Each trailer can serve up to 1,500 people per day. The city plans to deploy them quickly and send them to other municipalities upon request.
