A Japanese outlet conducted a two-day test of heat-countermeasures for car sleeping using items from Muji and Nitori costing up to 5,000 yen. On the first night at 33°C, the cabin temperature dropped to 25°C by morning; on the second night at 40°C, it did not fall below 30°C. The test showed that pre-cooling the cabin with AC is key, and in extreme heat, sleeping in the car should be avoided due to heatstroke risk.
