French entrepreneur and writer Arnaud Bertrand has completed a 33-day motorhome journey across Xinjiang. His route started in Urumqi, passed through Ili and the Duku Highway to southern Xinjiang, reaching Kashgar and Muztagh Ata, before returning to Urumqi via the Tianshan Shengli Tunnel. During the trip, he observed local infrastructure and visited the Xinjiang Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum, stating that firsthand experience gave him a deeper understanding of the region and China.
