Fractional ownership is expanding to luxury motorcoaches, allowing multiple buyers to purchase an equity stake and share costs such as storage, insurance and maintenance. The Motorcoach Store launched a program offering a 25% share in a new Prevost from $539,999, or pre-owned models from $249,999, with 10 guaranteed weeks of use per year and management fees of about $1,500 per month per fraction. According to RVIA, the typical RV owner uses their vehicle a median of 30 days a year, and nearly 17 million households intend to buy a motorhome within five years.
