Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Old Road Center have introduced four campsites located along the historic Gyeonggi Old Road route for family hikes in May. The route recreates the Joseon-era roads that connected Hanyang (now Seoul) with the provinces and includes cultural and natural attractions.
Recommended sites include:
- Pyeonghwanuri Campground near Imjingak
- Gimpo Hangang Campground with a pool and caravans
- Forest Doyle Picnic Campground for day use, no personal gear required
- Pohon-Tap Glamping (or Pocheon Tap) with night lighting
