Monika and Wolfgang Hotfilter from Osnabrück own an Orion camper van from 1968, which they bought 40 years ago. They have driven about 500,000 kilometers in it, including a trip to the North Cape in winter 2019 with temperatures dropping to -35 degrees Celsius. The original Hanomag chassis was replaced with a Mercedes one, while the body from Detmold remains untouched. In 1993, the engine power was increased from 54 to about 100 horsepower.
