From June 25, 2026, the northern section of the Duku Highway in Xinjiang requires advance booking for passage. The road is open daily from 8:00 to 19:00, and only vehicles up to 7 seats and 5 tons are allowed. Caravans and three-wheeled motorcycles are banned. The restrictions are due to construction of the G3033 expressway and the Ili-Aksu railway.
