Jockey Wheel

Towing

Corner steadies, caravan prop wheel, drawbar support wheel, stabiliser leg

A jockey wheel is a small castor wheel mounted on the front of a caravan or trailer drawbar that supports its weight when the trailer is unhitched and allows it to be manoeuvred by hand on flat surfaces.

Jockey wheels retract or swing up when hitched. Most have a screw mechanism for height adjustment. A quality jockey wheel with a wide rubber wheel makes hand-manoeuvring on gravel or grass much easier. Can be combined with a clamp for quick release.
