Morocco continues to attract French motorhome owners, drawn by its mild climate, diverse landscapes, proximity to Europe, and the freedom to travel for extended periods. The specialized magazine «Le Monde du Camping-Car» has dedicated a dossier to this trend, based on the experiences of eight travelers who describe the kingdom as particularly suitable for winter trips.
From the Atlantic coast to the Atlas mountains and southern regions, the country offers a wide variety of routes. Sea links with Europe also facilitate access for travelers in their own vehicles. According to Patrick Lablanche, president of the French Federation of Motorhome Associations and Clubs (FFACCC), between 10,000 and 12,000 French motorhome owners visit Morocco each year. These tourists represent an economic benefit for the regions they pass through: they often stay for several weeks and spread their spending across accommodation, food, fuel, shopping, and leisure. Morocco has several hundred campsites and motorhome parking areas.
