Badlands National Park operates two campgrounds with different conditions. Cedar Pass Campground is open from April 3 to October 11, 2026, offering 96 sites, some with electricity but no full hook-ups. The free Sage Creek Campground has 22 sites but prohibits motorhomes and trailers over 18 feet (5.5 m) in length and does not allow generators.
