Katja and Michael de Rooy from Rhynern traveled for a year from Brazil to Alaska in a self-converted camper. In the Utah desert, the engine failed and could not be repaired. The camper was shipped to Houston, and the couple continued their journey in a rental car. After returning to Hamm, they are having the camper repaired, as they consider it not just a vehicle but a home.
