According to Cesare Di Lello, who manages the establishment, Austrians had visited before, but this year their number is notably higher. German motorhomers have long been present, and in 2026 Austrians joined them, allowing the season to extend into October. According to the Camping Report 2026, Austria is the third-largest foreign market for outdoor holiday searches in Italy after Germany and Switzerland. In the first quarter of 2026, foreign tourist presences in Italian accommodation rose by 12.3%, compared to 2.2% for Italians.
