A campervan travel report covered a drive to Cape Oma, the northernmost point of Honshu. The route included Shiriyazaki Lighthouse, one of 16 climbable lighthouses in Japan; at 32.8 m it is the tallest brick lighthouse in the country. The area is also home to Kandachime horses. Near Cape Oma the author ate a tuna rice bowl; the typical price is around 3,000 yen, but he paid 2,400 yen. After finding the Kawachi Lake roadside station dark and nearly empty, he decided not to stay overnight and moved to another parking spot. He also dropped a DJI Osmo Pocket camera from about 1.5 m, causing the gimbal to malfunction.
