The Popular Party (PP) of Almendralejo submitted a motion at the last plenary session regarding the motorhome parking area on Clara Campoamor Street, built in 2022 at a cost of €80,000. The opposition cited a lack of water and electricity hookups, non-functional grey water disposal, and missing shade and picnic areas from the original project. The council rejected the motion, arguing it was poorly justified: the contract did not require electrical hookups, and water supply was cut due to resident complaints about misuse. Some deficiencies are to be addressed in the project's second phase.
